I have come to

know Paul DeVries

as a man I will be able to call a friend forever, a

friendship that

has lasted

over 40 years

and is still

going strong.

My first memory

of Paul was in

1980-81 on the

8th grade track team in Holland, Michigan. I recall witnessing a focused, intense,

and determined competitor.

He worked extremely hard to achieve his goals, on and off the field, and never took

anything for granted.

We connected via sports & competition, and that was the groundwork that turned into a

mutual & lifetime respect as teammates, friends, and brothers. That relationship continues
today & we’ll be family forever.

There’s no greater joy than seeing the man that Paul
has become.

I’ve known Paul DeVries since 1985. We met as freshman football players at Western Michigan University. We were both running backs & definitely spent a lot of time together in practice, meetings, film, etc. We literally became family!

Knowing PD for nearly 40 years has developed into an incredible friendship!

Paul is a person I can call anytime and he always has my six.

Paul’s extensive background as an athlete, teammate, coach, & mentor has equipped him to be able to help thers.

PD is a leader, motivator, mentor, friend, and my brother!
 

I would highly recommend anyone that wants to better themselves, their company, or whatever the situation, Paul has the experience, skills,
education, and passion to help and coach people, whether individually, teams, groups, or your organization!

I have known Paul DeVries for 40+ years. We played baseball & football together. What I remember most is his willingness to do whatever it took to help the team. He always arrived early to practice, on his bike, eager & ready to do whatever it took to get better & help the team win. He practiced with passion and always gave his all from start
to finish. It didn’t matter what position he was asked to play, he gave 100%.

What was really impressive was Paul's preparedness. He juggled football, baseball, basketball, track & academics, never missing a beat. He was always organized & efficient on & off the field.

Personally, I was a chubby kid & Paul never once made fun of me-he always had my back. He’s the teammate that helped everyone, on & off the battlefield .

Paul was one of the most hardworking teammates I’ve ever had the pleasure of competing with. I am proud to have Paul as my lifelong friend, brother, and a true role model!

I first met Paul DeVries when I was a freshman in high school. He was one of our football coaches.

From that moment on, I’ve always simply known him as Coach DeVries. The posture. The look. Everything about his appearance, said “Coach.”

The impact Coach DeVries made in my life at that time has turned out to be a lifetime benefit. There is always an encouraging word
from a man that clearly has a lot of love for his family, and a lot of pride about where he came from and what those experiences taught him.

The values & lessons instilled in him throughout his life journey have positively influenced many & will only continue to be difference make in many lives to come.
